I’m not a trained chef, and I don’t pretend to be one. I’m a home cook who genuinely loves food, the process of cooking it, and the small adventures that happen in the kitchen along the way.
Diago’s Culinary Escapades started very simply. I enjoy trying new recipes, tweaking old ones, and occasionally getting things wrong before getting them just right. Somewhere along the way, friends and family started asking for recipes. This site is my way of putting everything in one place.
What you’ll find here are recipes that are tested, honest, and meant to be cooked at home. No unnecessary fuss. Some dishes are rooted in tradition, others come from curiosity, and many are the result of experimenting on weekends, late evenings, or whenever the mood strikes.
I believe good food doesn’t have to be complicated. It should be enjoyable to cook, forgiving if you’re not perfect, and worth sharing with the people around the table. That’s the spirit behind every recipe you see here.
This space is also about documenting the journey. The wins, the tweaks, the little lessons learned, and the flavours that stick with you long after the plates are cleared.
If you’ve cooked something from here, shared it with family, or simply felt inspired to try something new, then this site has done exactly what it was meant to do.
Welcome to my kitchen.
Pull up a chair, try a recipe, and enjoy the escapade.
